Just finished the Wednesday lunch special. 15 for roast chicken and desert. Lovely meal, plenty to eat, and even had Kumera, as every good roast should. We come here often and have never been disappointed. The staff are friendly and always make us feel welcome. Highly recommended.

Cordial owner and staff. Best tasting dinner I've had in months. Crumbed lamb with couscous and green salad. Very fresh, clean tasting, minted couscous and tasty salad with perfectly seasoned salad dressing. My companions had venison and spoke highly of it. They had apple crumble and chocolate something for dessert and were very pleased. I can't wait for a good reason to return. It is both traditional but with a slight Eastern twist (my lamb was served with tzatziki sauce on the side).Spotlessly clean. Very impressed with the service (I think from owner?). For a delicious meal you must come here.

Equinox hosted 45 multi-generational members of our family for my mother's 90th birthday. Setting up the event was super easy, and they were really helpful. The menu had a great range to cover all tastes and catered really well for kids and those with other dietary requirements. The food was great! The chips were "tp die for" and I could have easily gobbled down another roast of the day - it was that good! Everyone was satisfied completely and the waiters were super efficient getting everyone's orders and meals out. Thoroughly recommend and will be returning to work my way through the menu each time I visit Dunedin.And so much parking!!

Absolutely delicious food. I got the Pistachio Chicken and my partner got the Asian Pork Belly and both were divine. The starters are a bit lacklustre but the mains are amazing and the cocktails are delicious.Would come again and thoroughly recommend to anybody wanting to come for a date night :)

Excellent service and friendly staff. Was able to accommodate 10 mums and their babies no problem. Lovely food and fast considering there were three large lunchtime groups. A lovely setting. I will be returning soon. Thank you!

Food was delicious and the portion sizes were good. the waitress was excellent and elevated the overall experience even more . The food was delivered on time and the staff contributed to making a special occasion happen. Highly recommend. Thank you

Ordered takeaway Christmas dinner.The seafood chowder is the best ever.I had 3 mains to choose from, all yummy.And again 3 desserts, choco cheese cake perfect.Mini Pavlova and a mince tart. Enough for meals for 2 days.Very impressed.Late Nov/2022Today they've told us, they are closing until February 2023.Can't get staff apparently....26/12/22Now it says they're open Tuesday after boxing day.Will ring tomorrow.Totally unreliable information.
